Manufacturing Process

There is 10 step processes of We follow to manufacture quality Product with Strict Quality Checking namely :
  • Storage of Raw Material
  • Assembling of Moulds
  • Preparing Reinforcement Cage
  • Mixing of Concrete
  • Spinning of Mould
  • Demoulding
  • Curing
  • Staking of Finished Pipe
  • Random Tests of Pipes
  • Dispatch
The pipe is cast by spinning process. The concrete compaction is caused by centrifugal force. Demoulding takes place after 24 hours and curing of pipes is for minimum 7 days.

âWhen there is a motion the center of the existing tends to more from the center.â

As the concrete can be processed uniformly with the use of above natural force, it will take the shape in round, which is equal distance from the center and this process is called centrifugal force in action. This process is best amongst all other processes in concrete technology.

Manufacturing Unit :

  • Total 8 Concrete mixture machine
  • Electric overhead crank facility per unit

Humes steel reinforced concrete pipes are made from coarse and fine aggregates, cement and hard drawn deformed steel reinforcement. They are manufactured and factory tested for quality âPrecast concrete pipes (pressure and non-pressure)". Pipes can also be custom made and tested to meet specific customer requirements.

Generally Humes concrete pipes up to 2200mm are centrifugally cast using the Hume supen process. The Humesupen process of centrifugal casting produces strong and durable concrete pipes.

The ideal pipe material for, handling peak flows, high abrasion resistance and impermeability of concrete makes steel reinforced concrete pipe the most appropriate selection for specifying pipes whilst a range of natural characteristics further enhance its performance. These include an indefinite increase in strength in the presence of moisture and autogenously healing of cracks.

Curing Process :
Demoulding takes place after 24 hours and curing of pipes is done for minimum 7 days by keeping pipes in water tank.

Testing Unit :
The most modern and scientific technique and process in testing are employed :
  • Total 2 Hydraulic pressure testing machine
  • Total 1 unit of load testing machine
  • Total 1 Cube testing machine
